After 4 years since Lanvin released a fragrance, they’re finally introducing another one this coming Summer. The newest perfume of Lanvin is named Jeanne Couture. It has a fruity smell like raspberry. It will become available in Northern Europe in May, and most countries will have it in July. I’m really surprised to see such diamond ring that looks like a broken heart. Well, we are all used to seeing heart as a whole or maybe other shapes of studded rings so this ring with a broken heart and has a diamond in the middle seems that the wearer is showing off “Hey, my marriage didn’t work out! I’m now single and ready to mingle!”. But then, every women have their own will what to wear if they want something alike to this ring, it’s their choice. So better not to mind other’s business.

Held at gunpoint inside a “UV EXPRESS” van

A gun was pointed at me today and I am still shaking from the adrenaline.

Just sharing this experience since you might encounter ity ourself…I Just got back two hours ago from the most researched hunt of my life, and if luck wasn’t on my side, i would’ve been dead and I would not have been brought back.

MARCH 30,2011. AROUND 1-2PM

I was commuting from Malolos to Cubao lately, and today, I had the most horrific experience in my entire life. SInce I did not want to wait in the Terminal for a long time, i went to the waiting shed where these UV EXPRESS vans and buses pass by going to CUBAO MRT, TIMOG, CALOOCAN, etc. (sa mga taga Malolos, ito yung sa may bago mag flyover.) I was not hesitant because they had these Yellow plate numbers and has a UV EXPRESS print on the side of the van, so I didn’t think that the passengers inside were in fact, robbers.

Since I was clueless, I didn’t mind the driver not stopping in Tabang where the usual vans do to get more passengers. The time when the driver drove straight to the toll gate and didn’t took any more passengers, my mind started to worry. Until then when this man beside me took a gun out of his bag and pointed it straight at me and told me “HINDI KAYO MASASAKTAN IBIGAY NYO LANG GUSTO NAMIN!’ The man took my bag and gave it to this lady in the front seat. And the lady took almost everything inside my bag. even my umbrella and make up. WTF lady. Anyway there were like 6 men and 2 ladies. Together with me was a 40 year old woman with her 9 year old child and her 14 year old nephew. everything went blurry since they forced us to close our eyes during the entire trip (with the gun still ponting at me). The stupid driver gave me a hundred bucks para daw may pang uwi ako. WTF? Then they told us na pag bababa na raw kami wag daw kami lilingon dahil babaralin daw nila kami. So they dropped us somewhere in Novaliches in a small alley. After that, they took off. We were all crying and I saw this man and told him about what happened. And he and his wife were very kind to help us and bring us to the nearest police station.

All through out ng byahe, all I was thinking was “Papatayin ako ni Karla pag nalate ako.” “Magagalit sakin si Mickee baka akalain i stood him up.” “Pano ko makikitxt, pano ko tatawag kala mama.” “Oras ko na ba Lord? Hindi ko pa nasasabe sa mga taong mahal ko na mahal ko sila.” “Dibale okay lang kahit mamatay ako ngayon maganda naman suot ko.” Sorry, pero i was really trying to calm myself and thinking of happy thoughts para di ako mag panic. Ganun pala yung feeling na pag parang mamamatay ka na, andami mong naiisip, ang daming regrets na bakit ganto bakit ganyan, bakit ba ko nakipagaway, bakit hndi ko nakiss si Mathis bago ko umalis. Stuffs like that.

Anyway, sa mga commuters jan BEWARE na lang. YUng modus operandi nila na sobrang nakatakip yung windows ng van tapos may UV EXPRESS n sign at may MARIKINA n nakalagay.may 2 babae sa loob na mga nakashades at 6 or 5 na lalaki inside. Pakiusap mag ingat kayo, hindi nyo gugustuhin maranasan yung naranasan ko kanina na nakatutok ang baril plus may kasama pang pang momolestya ng walanghiyang holdaper!!!

Eto lang mai ti-tip ko pag mag cocommute:(for me ito ang gagawin ko talaga kung sakaling magcocommute ulit ako.)

1.Sa terminal na kayo sumakay para safe.

2.Kung nagmamadali kayo at wala kayong time magantay ng pax sa terminal, bago kayo sumakay kunin ang plate number ng fx/van na sasakyan.

3.Itanong sa driver kung may walkie talkie (yung radio) basta yun. Kase normally daw yun yung mga rehistrado. (optional lang to. paranoid ako kaya itatanong ko tlga to)

4.Wag sasakay sa tinted na fx/van (literal na tinted pati likod at gilid ng mga bintana.

5. Bago sumakay, itanong sa mga naunang pasahero at sa driver kung “mga holdaper ba kayo?”-OPTIONAL LANG TO HA. PERO SAKIN KASI ITATANONG KO TALAGA TO KUNG SAKALING MAGCOCOMMUTE AKO DAHIL NATATAKOT NA TALAGA KO.

6.Itxt nyo nanay nyo o kung sino ma yung pupuntahan nyo yung plate number ng fx/van.

7. PINAKAIMPORTANTE!!! dahil ito ung napagmasdan ko sa style nila.. PATTERN-Pattern ng upo ng mga naunang pasahero sa loob. Hindi magpapasakay sa harap. Babae ang nasa harap. Sa gitna ay isang lalake na nasa bungad. Na pauunahin kang pumasok at dun sya sa may pintuan. 3 lalake sa pangatlong linya. Sa huling linya isang babae at isang lalake. Halos lahat sila nakashades.

3 incidents na ang nagyre according to malolos police station the same din na may marikina na naakalagay. Malala yung uanng nangyari sa unang incident dahil ung holdaper ang pinantanggal ng bra at underwear nung babae eh ung baril nya. so please PAKIUSAP MAGINGAT PO KAYO.

So that’s it guys. Be more careful now when riding a UV Express Van. I hope that this will never happen again (I wish) or just hope that the people behind that will be caught and get punished.
