First of all I want to thank those peeps who read my previous entry. I’m okay now and will just get used to it. Well, that’s life. We really can’t change people neh? I now proved that there are still some bloggers who really take their time on reading and commenting to their co-bloggers’ entries. Cheers to us guys!
Regarding on the topic. I went to my school’s testimonial luncheon today which was dedicated to CEU MAlolos June 2009 NLE passers. The attire is semi-formal but due to being hard-headed, I wore jeans, shirt and slippers. But despite it, I was not alone because others were also in their casual attire. cheers!
After the the program, I immediately went to my boyfie’s house to cheer him up. It was a surprised visit and he was really shocked to see me because he thought that I was on hospital duty. Well, I’m really glad to know that he appreciates my effort. I just hope that sooner or later he will be fine.
Time for me to return comments!
I started my hospital duty yesterday. I ‘m a certified volunteer nurse now. LOL. At first I was like a kid who always seek help from others, but now? Nothing has changed. LOL. Honestly I am starting to do tasks on my own. But I still need to seek help from staff nurses there because they are more knowledgeable than me.
I envied my co-volunteer nurses because from what I observed from them, they all have self-confidence which I lack the most. But sooner or later I’ll be more confident too. Maybe it’s not yet the time. LOL.
Before 09/09/09 ends, I want to greet my ever special loved one a happy 33rd monthsary to us. I miss and love you so much.
Queries:
1. Do you have enough self-confidence? Sorry for the lame question. LOL
2. What are the things you cannot live without?
I have a friend wherein his cousin died because of committing suicide. Why do some people commit suicide because of love. They just waste their lives, which on the other hand, cancer patients are fighting their disease to extend their lives. How ironic. In my opinion, people who commit suicide lack support from their family or friends. They tend to keep their problems from themselves which is not good. I want to share to you how to identify people who are at suicidal.
The SAD PERSON SCALE
Sex – Males are more successful in social acts even if suicidal ideation is more in females
Age- <18y/o , >60
Depression
Previous attempt- Those who attempted suicide are likely to repeat the attempt and succeed this time
Ethanol abuse- the alcoholics are most vulnerable
Rational thinking that is impaired
Social support that is impaired
Organized plan- Giving away valued possession is common
No spouse or worse, nagging spouse!
Sickness, specially chronic or terminal.
Got that from Carl Balita Book
